Versira ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our AI music prompt generation platform at versira.co.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and password (stored securely via Supabase authentication).

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the service, including generation modes used, credit consumption, and session activity.

IP Address: For users on the free tier without an account, we collect IP addresses to track credit usage and prevent abuse. This data is stored securely and not shared with third parties.

Payment Information: Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy. We do not directly collect or store credit card numbers, bank details, or other financial information. Please refer to LemonSqueezy's privacy policy for details on their data handling practices.

Conversation Data: The prompts and messages you send to our AI generator are processed in real-time to generate responses. We do not permanently store the content of your conversations.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Versira service

• Process your credit usage and subscriptions

• Authenticate your identity and secure your account

• Communicate with you about your account and service updates

• Prevent fraud and enforce our terms of service

• Improve and optimize our platform

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We use the following third-party services to operate Versira:

Supabase: Database and authentication — stores your account information securely.

Anthropic (Claude API): AI processing — your messages are sent to Claude for generation. Anthropic's usage policies apply.

LemonSqueezy: Payment processing — handles all subscription and one-time payments.

Vercel: Hosting — serves the Versira website.

Google OAuth: Optional sign-in method — if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their handling of your data.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)

• Secure password hashing via Supabase Auth

• Row-level security policies on our database

• Server-side API key management (sensitive keys are never exposed to the client)

No system is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Versira uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies from third-party ad networks. We do not serve ads on our platform.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Credit transaction logs are retained for accounting and fraud prevention purposes for up to 12 months after account deletion.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

• Request correction of inaccurate data

• Request deletion of your account and associated data

• Export your data in a portable format

• Withdraw consent for data processing (which may limit service functionality)

Versira is operated from South Africa. If you access the service from outside South Africa, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries where our service providers operate. By using Versira, you consent to this transfer.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process data on the basis of consent and legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
